Students for the Second Amendment
Attends SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Students for he Second Amendment recently showcased its programs at the annual Shooting Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show sponsored by the National Shooting Sports Foundation in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SHOT Show is an annual industry event, and is the largest trade show of its kind.

Three members of Students for the Second Amendment's, Collegiate Firearms Instructor Program drove non-stop from San Antonio, Texas to Las Vegas Nevada. The trio spent three days at the Las Vegas Convention Center networking with industry professionals and manufacturing representatives, as well as show attendees.

Many notable attendees stopped by the SF2A booth or met with our members. Those included; NRA President, Kane Robinson, NRA EVP, Wayne LaPierre, Benelli Shotgun Phenomenon, Tom Knapp, Jim Scoutten, host of American Shooter, and Shooting USA. Also, motor city mad man, Ted Nugent agreed to become a member of the SF2A Advisory Board.

Students for the Second Amendment is grateful for the many generous donations it received from various manufacturers and organizations at this year's SHOT Show. Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Arms, donated twelve rifles to SF2A/CFIP youth training programs.

Above all, SF2A is grateful to the National Shooting Sports Foundation for providing booth space to our organization. As a result of our presence at the show, SF2A is developing new contacts, and expanding our program in nine new states. This brings the total number of states in which SF2A is active to twenty two.

Students for the Second Amendment is looking forward to next years SHOT Show in Las Vegas, January 28-31, 2005.
