Students for the Second Amendment Teaches Firearm Safety to South Texas Area Scouts.
On Monday, October 8th Students for the Second Amendment and The Collegiate Firearms Instructor Program, taught a firearms safety class to the boy scouts and parents of Alamo Area Council, Troop 821 in San Antonio.
The training was led by SF2A Executive Director Damaso Torres. Torres is an NRA Certified Instructor and Range Safety Officer.
Some of the topics covered included; The three Basic Rules of Gun Safety, major causes of gun accidents in the home, and how to prevent them, and what to do if you find a gun.
Assisting with the training was NRA Training Counselor and Chief Range Safety Officer, Fredd Bergman. Bergman is also member of the SF2A Advisory Board. He spoke to the scouts about NRA Marksmanship Programs and shooting opportunities.
